A Time Limit helps manage your active time on our site each day. When your limit is reached, you'll be logged out automatically and won't be able to log back in until the next day.
How is a Time Limit set?
Time Limits are set by Paddy Power, not by you. If we notice you're spending a lot of time on our site, we may apply a Time Limit to your account to encourage healthier gambling habits.
This is part of our commitment to keeping gambling fun and safe.
Once a Time Limit is set, it will come into effect automatically after 24 hours.
Can I adjust my Time Limit?
You can't set or change this limit yourself - it's part of our commitment to keeping gambling fun and safe.

What counts as active time?
Active time is any period that includes:
- Making a deposit
- Making a withdrawal
- Placing a bet
- Transfers between wallets
Where there is less than 15 minutes between a deposit, withdrawal, or placing a bet, we consider the time between both transactions as continuous time on site.
Eg. You place a deposit at 10:15 and place a bet at 10:25, and place another deposit at 10:32, this is considered as 17 minutes active time.
Time spent scrolling, browsing, or watching content does not count towards your Time Limit.
How does a Time Limit work?
Your Time Limit tracks your active time from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM the following day.
Once you hit your limit:
- You'll be logged out.
- You won't be able to log back in until after 6:00 AM the next day.
When does my Time Limit reset?
Time Limits reset daily at 6:00 AM.
For example:
- A Time Limit of 8 hours is applied to your account
- Your active time (time spent transacting on site) will be counted from 6:00 AM the next day
- When you reach an active time of 8 hours in the following 24 hour period you will be logged out from your account
- You will be unable to log back in until after 6:00 AM on the following day
