Paddy Power has identified a self-exclusion on your account as part of our Safer Gambling control tools. You can learn what that means for your account here.
What does having a self-exclusion mean for you?
- For UK-based customers, we will do all we reasonably can to prevent you from setting up new accounts and gambling in the time that a Self-Exclusion is active
- Your exclusion cannot be reversed before the selected period expires
- Your exclusion cannot be reversed by our Customer Service team during the period set on your account
- Permanent and Temporary Self-Exclusions apply across all Flutter brands operating in the UK.
- For all non UK-based customers, Permanent and Temporary exclusions are applied across any pre-existing Paddy Power and Betfair accounts. Self-Exclusion does not cover Sky Betting & Gaming, PokerStars brands or Full Tilt Poker for customers outside the United Kingdom & Gibraltar
- When you Self-Excluded your account, where possible we endeavour to return your remaining funds to your active card within 10 working days. For any issues regarding with withdrawals, please contact us.
Types of exclusions
Permanent Exclusion
You have applied a lifetime or permanent exclusion across all products on your Paddy Power account, and you can no longer bet with any of our family brands*. You will not be able to reactivate your account or open any new accounts in the future.
Should you be due to receive any winnings from open bets on our Sports product, or if you have met the staking requirements for a promotion that pays in cash, you will be paid these funds at the bet settlement or promotion end. Please contact after those dates to organise a withdrawal.
Temporary Exclusion
You have excluded for a set period of time from your account (from 6 months to 5 years) and won't be able to use any of our family brands* services during this period.
Once your set period expires, your account will remain excluded until you choose to reach out to us. Our team will be able to assist you and re-instate your account after the Self-Exclusion period has ended.
Upon re-instating your account, you will enter into a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before being able to gamble.
Take a Break
You have excluded for a set period of time from your account (between 1 to 30 days) and won't be able to use any Paddy Power services during this period
Outstanding bets and balance will remain on your account, and the Take a Break is automatically removed once the selected period is up. If you are part of an on-going free bet offer (e.g. top goalscorer free bet offer) then this may be affected.
Questioning your gambling? Carry out a Self-Assessment
You can find out how safe your gambling is via GamCare. In an online assessment, you'll be asked a series of statements about your gambling behaviour on a scale of 1 - 10. At the end, you'll be provided with a breakdown of how gambling is affecting your life, alongside personal recommendations for your next steps
You can access the online assessment here.
*Our family group consists of Paddy Power, Betfair, PokerStars, tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming (which includes Sky Bet, Sky Vegas, Sky Bingo, Sky Casino and Sky Poker).
