Darts

  • In the event of a match starting but not being completed, the player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner (or in the case of the final the player declared the winner). This only applies to the Match Betting market. Handicap bets and other markets will be void unless a winning market has already been established.
  • If a match is postponed bets will be void unless the match is rescheduled and takes place the following day.
  • If the advertised number of legs or sets in a match is altered, then any events already determined (eg. first game) will be settled accordingly. Match betting will also stand so long as the match was decided by competitive play and not by default or walkover. All other bets will be made void.
  • Outright Bets placed are 'non-player no bet' and we reserve the right to deduct the equivalent Rule 4 to reflect returning stakes on non-players.
  • Individual Player Averages: All bets void if the match is not completed.
  • First/Final Leg Winning Double - Colour: The Bull counts as red. The leg must be completed for bets to stand.
  • For doubles and triples involving Highest Checkout, Most 180s and Win/Lose Match: each aspect of the bet must have been won outright for the bet to be deemed successful (and settled as a winning bet). For the avoidance of doubt, the bet will be deemed unsuccessful (and settled as a losing bet) if: (i) the selected player's highest checkout is the same as his/her opponent, (ii) the selected player scores the same number of 180s as his/her opponent and/or (iii) the match is tied.
  • For Darts Daily Specials, all scheduled matches must take place, otherwise all bets are void
  • Player to get the Highest Checkout: If match is not completed then all bets are void.
  • Official match sheets will be used for settlement purposes.

Golf

General:

  • All markets will be settled on result as posted by official tour site on the day after the event.
  • Any subsequent disqualification or amendment of result will be ignored for settlement purposes.
  • If a player does not start the tournament all bets on that player will be void.
  • If there is no price for a tie, and Draw-no-bets is not specified (DNB), dead heat rules will apply.
  • If a tournament is shortened and some holes are played which do not contribute to the final result, all bets struck after the last official shot will be void, except for bets on markets which have been unconditionally determined.
  • In any "qualify" or "to reach" markets, in the event that another unqualified golfer takes the place, winners will be settled on the qualification only, and any subsequent change will not count.
  • If a period of scoring is reset by the tournament officials, all bets placed after the last official action will be void except on markets which have been unconditionally determined which will stand.
  • In the event of a playoff, outright markets will be settled including the playoff results, but all other markets will not.

Outright Betting:

  • When more than one player shares the same lowest score in a tournament and there is no play-off, win and place bets are settled by the dead heat method
  • In the event of a play-off the result of the play-off will determine the winner of the tournament.
  • Bets will only be settled if an official result is declared by the tournament, satisfying the minimum number of holes required.
  • Markets settled on the official result of the governing body. Amendments can be made for any corrections to scores up to 24 hours after the initial settlement of the market.
  • For each way bets dead heat rules apply. For example, if each-way terms quoted for a tournament are for the first 4 places, the 3 players tying for third place will be deemed to have dead-heated for third, fourth and fifth place with 1/3 stake lost and 2/3 stake settled at full place odds for each way bets on those players.
  • In a dead heat the stake money on a selection is divided by the number of runners involved in the dead heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake with the remainder of the stake money being lost.
  • If a revised tournament outright betting includes players who have completed their round and the tournament winner is presented with the trophy after the rest of the field have completed that round, bets placed on those players will be deemed void, provided another round is not fully completed.
  • Outright Bets placed are 'non-player no bet' and we reserve the right to deduct the equivalent Rule 4 to reflect returning stakes on non-players.

Abandoned / Postponed / Shortened Event:

  • Should a tournament be shortened, or otherwise affected due to weather conditions the trophy presentation will govern settlement, including tournament groups, matches, place only, top 10 and all other 72-hole markets provided at least 36 holes of the event have been completed.
  • Should 36 holes not be completed then all bets on that event will be void except markets that have already been decided i.e. 'first round 3-balls'.
  • Should there be no further play after a bet is struck that bet will be void.
  • In the event of a postponed event all bets stand except if tournament is not played within 7 days then bets will be void.

Greyhound Racing

  • Best Odds Guaranteed is not available on greyhound racing
  • Greyhound names are displayed on Paddy Power's website for information purposes only and all bets will be settled on the basis of the trap numbers on which bets are placed.
  • Where a 'no race' is declared, all bets will be voided unless the 're-run' race takes place on the same day (in which case all original bets will stand).
  • All bets will be settled on the basis of the official result declared on the day of the relevant race.  If the official result is retrospectively changed, Paddy Power will not resettle the applicable markets.
  • In the event that no starting prices are returned for an individual race, all bets on that race will be declared void.
  • Where a greyhound is withdrawn from a race or replaced by an alternative (e.g. reserve) greyhound, all early price bets which were placed on the remaining greyhounds before the withdrawal or replacement will be settled at those greyhounds' starting prices (while all bets placed following a withdrawal or replacement will be settled at the relevant greyhounds' early prices).
  • Each way starting price bets will be accepted for unnamed favourites.  All unnamed second favourites are win only and, therefore, no each way betting is available for them.
  • In races where there are less than six runners, all Top 3 market bets will be void.
  • In races where there are less than six runners, all Betting W/O market bets will be void.

Tennis

Where a player or pairing retires or is disqualified, the following actions will be taken:

Where a player or pairing retires or is disqualified in an ITF, UTR or exhibition match: all match bets (i.e. bets placed on the winner of a given match) will be voided regardless of what stage of the match the retirement occurs.

  • All other competitions: (i) all match bets (i.e. bets placed on the winner of a given match) will be voided if the retirement/disqualification occurs prior to the conclusion of the first set, (ii) if the retirement/disqualification occurs following the conclusion of the first set, the player or pairing progressing to the next round (or winning the tournament in the case of a final) will, for the purposes of any match bets, be deemed the winner and match bets placed on the retiring player or pairing will be voided (and stakes in respect of those bets refunded accordingly).
  • Other markets (i.e. other than match betting markets) for all events will be voided where a player or pairing retires or is disqualified (regardless of whether the retirement occurs during or following the first set) unless the outcome of the bet had been unequivocally determined prior to the time of the retirement/disqualification (in which case, the bet shall stand and shall be settled accordingly).
  •  All tennis bets (including any specials) will be settled in accordance with the official website of each tournament's governing body.
  • In the case of any settlement disputes, Paddy Power's decision is final.
  • In the event of a change in the number of sets (or games per set) to be played, match bets (i.e. bets placed on the winner of a given match excluding, for the avoidance of doubt, any handicap bets) and "To Win First Set" bets will stand (save where the number of sets is reduced to one from a higher number of sets, in which case such bets will be voided). All bets on other markets will be void. Where the format of the final set is changed (e.g. the number of games to be played in that set is changed) but the number of sets to be played remains the same, bets for match betting markets will stand.
  • In the event of a tennis event not taking place or if a player is given a walkover, bets on this event are deemed void. (event refers to a single match-up between players, rather than the tournament itself).
  • If in the event of a change to any of the following, all bets will stand:
  1. A change in court type (indoor to outdoor or vice versa)
  2. A change of playing surface (either before or during a match)
  3. A change of venue
  4. A change to the scheduling which affects the time or date of a match.

  • Where a player, pairing or team does not participate in a tournament (i.e. they are withdrawn prior to the start of their first match), all bets (including tournament winner, quarter or special bets) involving that player, pairing or team will be voided and stakes will be refunded accordingly. Markets may be subject to a Rule 4 deduction.
  • A tournament must be completed in full for all markets relating to the outcome to stand. This includes: Name The Finalists, To Reach/Not to Reach Xth Round, Big Guns, Stage of Elimination or any tournament specials. For the Stage of elimination and not to reach the Final markets - a player must play at least one point during the tournament for bets to stand.
