What is Best Odds Guaranteed?
Paddy Power offer Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK & Irish Horse Racing from 8am on the day of the race. So, if you take a price on a horse and the Starting Price (SP) is bigger we will pay you out at the bigger odds!
For Example:
- If you take a price of 3/1 and the selection wins with an SP of 4/1, we pay you 4/1.
- If you take a price of 3/1 and the selection wins with an SP of 2/1, we STILL pay you 3/1.
So you get the best of both worlds!
Best Odds Guaranteed applies to Singles & Multiples on win or each-way markets only.
What is the opt-in process?
To avail of Best Odds Guaranteed you must 'opt-in' on the Paddy Power promotions page. Please note that Best Odds Guaranteed applies to all Irish and UK Horse Racing from 8am the following day from when you opt-in!
From 04/08/2026, Best Odds Guaranteed will apply exclusively to horse racing bets with a stake of £5/5EUR or more.
How do I know if I qualify for Best Odds Guaranteed?
- Place a bet on a win/ew market on one of the selected races, after 8am on the day of the race. Make sure it's on UK or Irish racing, and before the race has started.
- Once your bet is placed, you will see that it has qualified for Best Odds in your Open bets.
- After the race has settled, you will continue to see if your bet had qualified for Best Odds in your Settled bets, regardless of whether you won, lost or cashed out.
Is there a minimum stake to qualify for Best Odds Guaranteed?
Yes. From 04/08/2026, Best Odds Guaranteed will apply exclusively to horse racing bets with a stake of £5/5EUR or more.
Best Odds Guaranteed does not apply to:
- Bets placed with a free bet, or partial free bet
- Bets placed with total stakes less than £5/5EUR
- Bets placed with Money Back tokens won't qualify for Best Odds Guaranteed
- Bets placed at ante-post odds
- Betting-in-running bets
- Forecast, Place Only, Betting without or Insurance type bets
- Free bets
- Greyhound racing
- Power Price selections
- Bets on international racing
- Bets placed before 8am on the day of the race
- Bets placed using a Power Up
- Does not apply to 'Lengthen Your Odds' and 'Same Race Multiples'
The maximum payment to any one client in respect of our Best Odds Guaranteed concession is £1,000/1,000EUR per day.
For commercial reasons, Paddy Power reserves the right to exclude selected customers from receiving various promotions including Best Odds Guaranteed.
