What is Eliminator?

Eliminator is our new Free to Play game - Find the winner in each of the 6 races and you win (or share) the jackpot amount! Fail to find the winner in any of the races and you are eliminated.

The prize for each day's races will vary & will be advertised on the home page here.

Who can take part?

How do I play?

  • Log in to Paddy Power and visit Eliminator on the home page - or by clicking here.
  • When you are in the game, select 'Play For Free' and make your selections...

  • Select the required number of horses in each of the selected races. You can do this by using the '+' button at the side of the selections, until all your selections are in.

  • You are given multiple chances in each race to find the winner, until the final race where you select one horse to win.
  • If any of your selections win, you have survived and move to the next round.

  • If you don't find the winner, you are eliminated!

  • The opening and/or closing times (as applicable) for each Game will be displayed clearly on the game. The relevant meeting will also be displayed on the game.
  • All entries must be complete before the start of the first race which will be clearly displayed in the game.
  • You can edit your selections for each race up until the advertised start time of that race, see the image below for different ways you can edit your selections.

How many selections do I pick for each race?

This depends on the race you are making your selections.

In the below example:

  • If you are selecting horses for Race 1, you can pick 6 selections
  • If you are selecting horses for Race 3, you can pick 4 selections
  • If you are selecting horses for Race 6, you can pick 1 selection

In the below example:

  • In Race 1, your second selection out of 6 won
  • In Race 2, your third selection out of 5 won
  • In Race 3, your first selection out of 4 won
  • In Race 4, your third selection out of 3 won
  • In Race 5, your second selection out of 2 won
  • In Race 6, your one selection out of 1 won

Paddy Power may, at it's discretion, require a minimum number of horses to take part in a selected race for that race to be eligible for the Game Round. See the section below on Minimum Runners for more information.

When do I have to submit my picks?

Your selections for all races must be entered before the advertised start time of the first nominated race of the day

What happens if one of my selections is a non-runner?

  • If one (or more) of your selections are non runners, you will receive the horse with the shortest odds that you have not already selected.
  • If you have multiple selections non runners, you will receive replacements until you have the correct number of horses selected or you have all horses in the race.
  • If there are two or more horses with the same lowest odds, you will receive the horse with the lower saddlecloth number. If you want to find out more about non-runners, see our article here.

What happens if there is a dead-heat?

In the scenario where two horses pass the finish line at the same time. Both horses will be declared the winner, and any users that selected either of the winning horses will progress to the next round. To find out more about dead-heats, see our article here.

What happens if the field size reduces?

  • In the event of field sizes (the number of runners in the race) reducing, Paddy Power reserves the right to void the entire round and/or race.

How do Quick Picks work?

There will be 3 options:

  • Favourites will give you the horses with the shortest odds,
  • With the Crowd will give you the most popular horses and,
  • Against the Crowd will give you the least popular horses.

How are the prized paid to the winner?

  • Prizes are paid in cash into the winners' Paddy Power accounts.

What happens if there are multiple winners?

  • If there are multiple users alive after the last nominated race of the day, the advertised prize will be divided equally between all those users.

What happens if there are no winners?

  • If there are no users alive after the last nominated race of the day, the advertised prize will not be awarded for that day.
  • There is no consolation prizes as part of 'Eliminator', to win you must select the winner in all required races.

When will I get my prize?

  • Prizes for a game round will be credited the following day by 11 a.m, however this may be subject to certain delays where the prize won is over £10,000 and additional customer verification may be required.

Does it cost to play?

No, this is free to play.

Can I enter more than once?

No, the game is restricted to one entry per user.

Can I change my selections?

You can change your selections up until the advertised start time of the first nominated race of the day.

Can I still play the game if I miss the first race?

Unfortunately, you must make selections for every race in order to play. If you miss the first race, be sure to check in regularly for your next chance to play!

What happens if there are cancelled races:

In the event of a cancelled race that had been selected for the Round. Paddy Power reserves the right to void the entire round and not award any prizes without completion of all required races. See more on Void/Abandoned Races in the below section.

What is the process for Winners and Entrants Verification?

  • Paddy Power reserves the right in its sole discretion to ask for evidence to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of an entrant at any time, and to use any channels and methods available to carry out checks of any details provided.
  • Paddy Power may withhold delivery of a prize until it has received satisfactory verification from the winner. Failure to provide such satisfactory verification in a timely manner may result in a delay in the delivery of the prize. Failure to provide such satisfactory verification altogether may result in forfeiture of the prize.
  • If the winning entrant is, for whatever reason:
  1. not able to accept a prize;
  2. not able to verify their registration information to the satisfaction of Paddy Power; or
  3. found to have breached these Terms and Conditions by  Paddy Power then the entrant will be disqualified and the prize will be forfeited.
  • To ensure that the promotion is limited to one per customer, we only permit one customer to participate from each household address, IP address, email address, payment method (e.g. debit or credit card, Neteller etc) and/or shared computer (e.g. public library or workplace). We reserve the right not to award free entries to any customer.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw the availability of this offer to any player or group of players or to modify the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time.
  • The use of programs designed to automatically play the game (i.e. 'bots') are not permitted on 'Eliminator'. Any customer found to be using such software will be excluded from the game.
  • We reserve the right to exclude any entrant from 'Eliminator' and from use of our website, and to withhold any winnings from entrants, if we believe that such entrant has breached these terms and conditions, has tried to enter by using more than one username or is otherwise engaging in any fraudulent, suspicious or illegal activity (including participation that would be in breach of the law in the entrant's local jurisdiction), whether or not the entrant would or might have won any prize but for such activity.
  • Prior to paying any winnings to entrants, we may require that such entrants submit certain documentation to us to, among other things, verify their identity. The payment of any winnings is conditional on the entrant submitting such documentation to our reasonable satisfaction.

Minimum Runners:

Paddy Power may, at it's discretion, require a minimum number of horses to take part in a selected race for that race to be eligible for the Game Round. If, for any reason the required number of horses do not take part (non-runners, or other) then for the purpose of the game round, that round will be deemed void, and the jackpot will be reduced as per the ''Void/Abandoned Races'' terms.

The minimum number of horses required to take part in each race to be deemed eligible is shown below:

  • Where customers select 6 horses, a minimum of 8 horses taking part is required
  • Where customers select 5 horses, a minimum of 7 horses taking part is required
  • Where customers select 4 horses, a minimum of 6 horses taking part is required
  • Where customers select 3 horses, a minimum of 5 horses taking part is required
  • Where customers select 2 horses, a minimum of 4 horses taking part is required
  • Where customers select 1 horse, a minimum of 3 horses taking part is required

Void/Abandoned Races:

  • If any of the races which are the subject of the Competition are abandoned, postponed, or not completed for any reason, or if a single winning horse is not officially identified for any of those races for any reason (other than a dead heat), the race will (at Paddy Power’s discretion) be considered void (''Void Races''). If in any Game Round there is only one Void Race, then the Jackpot Prize will be 50% of the original prize amount. If in any Game Round there are two Void Races, then the Jackpot Prize will be 10% of the original prize amount. If there are three or more Void Races, then the Game Round will be deemed cancelled and no prizes of any size awarded.
