Beat the Drop is one of the most popular games in the sports betting community that is free to play every day.

Beat the Drop is a predictor game that requires players to split their prize pot between two possible answers for every question they encounter. You take the cash you placed on the winning answer through to the next question.

You can decide to split your pot however you like on each question. You could go all-in on the first question and win, in which case you'd carry your starting amount through to your second question. In theory you could do this all the way thorough and win the full jackpot. However, generally the pot whittles down as you progress because you cover both outcomes with your answers.

The game ends when you answered all questions with money left over, or when you run out of money.

It's possible to pay to play Beat the Drop and reduce your number of questions, while boosting your potential winnings.

Beat the Drop Example

Here's an example of Paddy Power Beat the Drop in action. You start a new game with £1,000 in your pot and choose to play on a football question. In this example, you need to decide whether both teams will score in a match between Man Utd vs Liverpool.

You think that's likely so you go all in with your £1,000 pot on Yes, for both teams to score.
You can use the gauge in the middle to change your decision and move your money around. Just make sure you make the final call before the game.
In the end, the game ends 2-2 and you progress to the next question with your full £1,000 intact!

Players can play up to 1 free game of Beat the Drop per day
Winnings up front which varies by customer
You have 14 days from the time when you entered your last round to complete your next question
Paddy reserves the right to suspend or disable 'Beat the Drop' at any time
You must verify your identity in order to receive your winnings
If an event featured in a Beat the Drop question is voided then Paddy Power will void the question. Affected players will be pushed out of that question and will need to choose another one

How and when can I qualify?

Entries are earned through qualifying for a Paddy's Rewards Club reward each Monday.
You can qualify on either Sports or Slots.
Sports: Place a min bet of £5+ between 00.01 on Monday and 23.59 on Sunday.
Slots: Wager a min of £20+ on any of our Slots between 00.01 on Monday and 23.59 on Sunday.

What can I win?

Earn a 13 Question, £5,000 Beat The Drop game token which allows you to answer two fewer questions to win than a standard Beat The Drop game.
Beat The Drop game token must be claimed from the promotional page.
Once claimed, your 13 question game will begin when you visit the Beat The Drop game. If you are in the middle of a standard game, your 13 question game will begin when you have finished your ongoing game.

When will I get my prize?

Game token will be available to claim from 11am on the Monday following the week of qualification.
Details will be emailed to customers each Monday when they qualify for this Paddy's Rewards Club reward.
Customers must be opted into email marketing (by 23.59 on the Sunday of the previous week) to receive the link to the game token each week. For existing Paddy's Reward Club customers, you can review and update your marketing preferences by clicking on contact preferences in the My Account section.

What else do I need to know?

Tokens must be claimed from the promotional page prior to starting a Beat The Drop game in order to be activated.
Token must be claimed between 09:00 Mon - 23:59 Sun the week following qualification.
Token will be valid for 7 days after it has been claimed.
Stakes on Beat The Drop don't count towards qualification for this promotion.

Other boring but essential stuff

The promotion is available for new and existing customers with registered Paddy Power accounts, aged 18 or over, who have opted in to Paddy's Rewards Club.
