What is 99 Royale?

99Royale combines battle royale with slots. Up to 99 players battle against one another, with wins in the slot giving you power to attack, rack up the KOs and be among the final few to share the battle prize.

How does it work?

99Royale combines two elements - a slot, and a battle.

A win on the slot does 3 things: the win goes straight into the player's account; it delivers some power to use in an attack, and it also adds some money to the battle prize and side missions.

The top few players (see the table below to see how many winning positions there are depending on the number of players in a battle) will receive a battle prize.

Before the battle starts, a player is given this information as well: "Finish in the final X to win a battle prize".

How many players will there be?

A battle can contain anywhere between 8 and 99 players.

There's a queue which players join when you press 'play' from the internal game lobby. The queuing algorithm puts players into a random battle depending on the number of players joining the queue within a given time period. We aim to start a battle within 60 seconds. Players are given an estimated wait time for a battle. You can spin the single player version of the game while you wait.

If there aren't enough players to join a battle, it can't start because only real players will play - there are no bots in real play.

How is the prize divided up?

The prize is paid out according to how much you contributed to the battle prize (a % of your wins) and where you finish in the final number.

When playing, players see the Battle Prize going up. Each user sees a different number because of how much you are staking and winning and how fast - this represents the amount that each user will win if you come FIRST at that moment.

A player also gets told by the game when you are "in the money". With 99 players this is the 'top 15'. If there are only 10 players, it's just the top 2. When you are 'KO' the finish screen shows their final position and the amount you won from the battle.

What are Side Missions?

Side Missions are extra bonuses and features. 99 Royale will launch with just one side mission - Loot Crates, which is a variable large prize with a shifting random win probability.

Side Missions are extra bonus features that are mostly random or may have some form of persistence mechanic (such as becoming more likely when you have collected a number of symbols over time).

What if I lose connection?

The battle can't be paused. Other players will continue playing and it's possible to be attacked and knocked out of the battle - but any wins in your account remain yours and if you finish in the final number, the win will be credited to your account.

I shouldn't have lost the battle / I should have won more?

The "battle recap" can be accessed from a player's profile section (right hand button in the 99 Royale game lobby). This allows a player to see payout, finishing position and battle start and end time.

The spins are determined by the RNG result and that also means the amount of power you have, as well as the power of attacks aimed at you. Sometimes due to slow connection there can be a small delay between what you see on the front end and what has already been predetermined on the back end. That is, if you notice a delay in being able to attack, it might be because an attack on you has already happened but has not yet been shown.

Is there a different chance of winning if you bet more?

No. The amount you win is a multiple of your bet and the amount you have contributed to the battle prize.

I see there's an extra jackpot - what is that / I think I should have won it!

99Royale also has 'side missions'. These are extra prizes within the game. Examples include loot crates which can occur on any spin within a battle within a set time period and will appear in your account.

Can I change my username?

No. When signing in to a 99 Royale game for the first time players accept a prompt stating that usernames are permanent.

My battle didn't start

Check your system clock is correct; if it is not showing the correct time this could cause an issue with starting a battle. If this did not help, please use contact us at the bottom of this article.

It says I'm stuck or in another battle.

You can only participate in one battle at a time.

If you launch another 99 Royale slot title and try to enter a battle you will see an error message prompting you to go back to the original title. You will not be able to launch a battle in this title.

If you are on a screen that says SEARCHING FOR OPPONENTS you can press cancel. You will then be able to enter another battle.
If you are in an active battle you will need to wait for that battle to complete before you can start another one.

Why don't my stats get shared across titles?

Your 99 Royale rating is linked to your account and shows your ranking across all titles. However, your in-game stats refer to your performance within a given title.

What is my 99 Royale Rating?

This number shows how well you are doing against other players. It can go up (and down).
