- It is the customer’s responsibility to make themselves aware of the Paddy Power Betting Rules.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that bets are written clearly and that spelling, timing, instructions and staking are correct and cannot be misconstrued.
- Customers should write their own instructions but should a member of staff undertake to do so, to meet a customer’s convenience, the onus of responsibility for seeing that such instructions are written clearly and correctly shall be on the customer and the customer shall not have any claim against Paddy Power in the event of such instructions being incorrect.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that bets are placed on time and the market is not closed for betting.
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is no rule of a Sport Governing Body or a term of their contract of employment prohibiting them from placing a particular bet. If such a bet is taken, this bet will be void.
- Customers should check receipts to verify their bet and that the amount paid has been correctly recorded by the Paddy Power EPOS system.
- Paddy Power cannot allow for mistakes, nor accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in respect of the announcing, publishing or marking of prices, handicap values, point values, runners, times, scores or results, despite every effort to ensure their accuracy.
- Paddy Power reserves the right to correct any obvious errors.
- Receipts must be retained by the customer until all bets on the slip can be fully settled.
- Returns will be paid to customers on surrender of their receipt. We do not guarantee payment of returns from any bet later than six months after the time the final result affecting settlement of the bet was known.
